Working from Home on a Schedule

Okay so today is a Great example of what not to do. Ha! Ha!

My 4 year old was running a fever all day, my aunt came over and wanted to go shopping and all the meanwhile I have a stack of papers of people that have contacted me today wanting more information on my home based business and I just could not find the time.

Like I said "This is what you are NOT suppose to do!"

But let's be honest here... It is hard especially if you are a mom or even if you work full or part time outside of your home you just have those days where everything else around you seems to take priority over making your calls.

It is important to write out a schedule regardless. I made out mine to make my calls between 10am and Noon while my 4 year old is playing and napping and the other 3 kiddos are at school. This works well for me the majority of the time with the exceptions of days like today. But I guess regardless if you are working from home or outside the home we all have those days right?

So my Daily Advice... Make a schedule that will really work for you and cut yourself some slack. You are going to have these days, the learning lesson is jumping back in the next day as if a day was not even missed.

My First Post!

I attempted to create a Blog about a year ago and had some fun setting it up but then did not really understand what to do with it, which is a place I think alot of us get stuck. Recently I decided to do a little more research and really take some time to learn more about blogging. I am really looking forward to taking this blogging journey with everyone and I hope to build some great friendships along the way.

To share a little bit about me...

I have been a work at home mom for just about 3 years now. I was having a lot of fun with my home based business and saw some success the first 2 years and then my Dad and Mother in law got word they had cancer, my husband lost his job and we lost our home like many other Americans are experiencing as well. Well, now I am more determined than I was when I first got started with my home based business that this is the solution for my family.

I have learned so much in the last few years so I hope to share some of what I have learned to help others that are truly looking for a legitimate, honest, ethical way of working at home and improving their family's current situation. I call it "Paying the Blessing Forward".

Have an Awesome and Blessed Day!
